As a Warehouse Manager with Ameritex Vending Company, you will build orders for Route Drivers, perform the daily check-in of Route Drivers, ensure efficient inventory levels are met and enter data in SEED operating system daily, while maintaining safety standards. Your warehouse experience including inventory control will help drive operational excellence, while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintains inventory, product distribution, and turnover.
- Ensures quality, cleanliness, merchandising, customer service and company policies and programs are maintained.
- Reviews service frequencies to assure maximum sales without jeopardizing customer satisfaction.
- Schedules and modifies warehouse structure to improve productivity, control overtime compensation, manage employee scheduling, and ensure the operation has sufficient labor each day.
- Ensures appropriate functions, duties and procedures are performed as directed by CEO/President.
- Receives, unloads, moves and loads merchandise (as necessary)
- Verifies correct counts of items received and notes discrepancies or damages.
- Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage; rotates stock according to schedule.
- Maintains work area in a safe and proper manner; reports any unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.
- Manages and maintains stock control; plans future needs and adjusting par levels, processes stock order, review orders, controls dead stock and maintains scheduling of deliveries.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 3-5 years of warehouse supervision, managerial role or related experience
- Warehouse, facilities maintenance, support services, experience
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred
- High level of computer literacy, ability to manage our internal systems (SEED/Cantaloupe)
- Excellent interpersonal, management skills, and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
5:00am - 1:30pm (or occasionally later based on business needs)
Monday - Friday
Days off Saturday & Sunday
Experience:
3-5 years warehouse experience (Preferred)
