Aircraft Structures Technician 2nd Shift- DAS Aviation

2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12am. The shift incentive includes a 10%‑15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, eligibility to transfer to 1st shift as needed.

What you can expect as a Sheet metal/Structures Technician at DAS Aviation:

As Sheet metal Technician, each day will bring new experiences and opportunities for growth. You will need to have a basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, reading blueprints, working from drawings, fastening systems, procedures and techniques.

You Will Be ESSENTIAL To Many FUNCTIONS Including:
  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe components.
  • Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
  • Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
  • Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools associated with sheet‑metal functions.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
  • Any other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
