We are looking for an energetic and customer‑focused Store Assistant Manager to lead a high‑performance team in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure every customer receives a friendly and efficient experience.

You will assist the Store Manager with oversight of the station store operations. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

• Hiring, supervising, and training staff
• Managing store openings, closings, and petty cash
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and merchandising
• Providing fast and friendly customer service
• Ensuring accurate inventory and billing
• Maintaining reliable onsite attendance

• Leading a team of employees and managers
• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
• Delegation and follow‑up
• Coaching and motivating others
• Planning and organizing
• Communicating plans and ideas
• Cash handling and bookkeeping
• Problem solving
• Advocating and empathizing
• Safety and Security

• Retail experience
• Supervisor or management experience
• Recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills
• Experience handling food
• High School or College Degree

• Stand or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift or carry up to 30 pounds in a shift
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 60 pounds
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with twisting for up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands; eye‑hand coordination required; may require climbing ladder for storage or sign removal
