Pep Wear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is a leading, growing company producing and selling screen-printed and embroidered apparel and commemorative plaques at school events and to school groups across the country. With a focus on service, integrity, and learning, our Team makes the difference!

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals who want to join our Warehouse Department Team. This is an entry-level position with ample opportunity to grow and learn new skills in this department and in other Pep Wear departments.

Candidates must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds in a detail-oriented work environment. The ability to learn quickly and be willing to take on new challenges is a must.

Job Duties:

• Process inbound and outbound freight shipments
• Will be required to receive, stock, pull, and ship merchandise
• Driving in company vehicles to pick up maintenance & office supplies as needed
• Build and wrap multiple pallets daily
• Unload trucks, trailers, and vehicles as they arrive at Pep Wear
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse and the Pep Wear grounds organized and clean
• Involved in maintenance tasks throughout the Pep Wear facility. (ex. Bulb replacement, lawn care, tire maintenance, trash pickup, metal sweeps, ceiling tiles, etc.)
• Occasional trailer drops and pick-ups to and from our remote employees
• Equipment that the position utilizes includes but is not limited to the following: forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, event carts, portable computers and iPads, hand tools, air compressors, industrial fans, etc.

Skills Required:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be goal and achievement-oriented with a strong organizational skillset
• Understand and be committed to accountability and ownership of your responsibilities and results
• Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and up to the challenge of learning our internal management software
• General trailer maintenance and knowledge desired
• Warehouse, logistics, and inventory control experience is desired.
• Forklift experience or certification is preferred

Other Information:

• Regular work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday
• Some evenings and weekend work will be necessary during peak seasons
• The warehouse department is not temperature-controlled. The summer season is hot.
• A Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report are required
• The position is full-time, hourly
