Utility Worker - Warehouse

Position Summary: The Utility Worker supports daily warehouse operations across departments including and not limited to Shipping and Inventory Control by performing tasks that ensure operational efficiency, safety, cleanliness and organization in a fast paced warehouse distribution center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack, pick and process orders with attention to accuracy and special instructions for same day shipment according to designated timelines.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Receive all air and ground shipments, which include preparing the warehouse for receiving product as well as verifying the accuracy of the packing list / bill of lading.
• Complete the daily truck log accurately and on time.
• Safely perform operation of warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ensure and maintain organization and cleanliness of the facility.
• Replenish supplies including boxes, pallets, shrink wrap in all work areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance to safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Palletize and wrap outgoing shipments according to designated protocols and procedures.
• Perform daily cycle counts and verify data. Assist with year-end physical inventory.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support operations.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3 years of related warehouse experience.
• Willingness and availability for working overtime as needed.
• Computer literate with basic computer skills.
• Forklift and warehouse equipment operation experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to shoulder height.
• Ability to work standing for long period of time.
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must promote a positive attitude and collaborative approach to individual and team success.
• Proven history of meeting company goals in a fast paced work environment.
