Inside Sales Representative; Creator Consultant

Create Room is a primarily DTC e-commerce brand that designs products to help creators organize their spaces and their lives. Our flagship product, the Dream Box, is a viral, all-in-one solution that combines storage, workspace and organization. At the heart of everything we do is our passionate, creative community.

As a Creator Consultant, you’ll be the friendly expert who guides customers through one of the biggest and most meaningful purchases in their creative journey.

This role is based full-time in our Cedar Hills showroom, where you’ll greet visitors, host scheduled appointments, and connect with incoming leads via phone and virtual meetings. Our showroom also functions as a content and livestream space, so we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable being on camera and has a natural feel for social engagement.

Meet our current Creator Consultants:

• Welcome and engage visitors in our showroom, offering personalized tours and product consultations
• Conduct virtual sales appointments and phone consultations with incoming leads
• Listen to customer needs and recommend the best Create Room setup for their space, lifestyle, and craft interests
• Build meaningful relationships and provide supportive, pressure-free guidance
• Schedule and manage in-person appointments
• Maintain a warm, inviting showroom environment and product presentation
• Contribute to live videos, product demonstrations, and occasional social content filmed in the showroom
• Track leads, appointments, and follow-up communications in CRM tools
• Collaborate closely with our sales, community, and marketing teams

• A natural people-person who loves conversation and connection
• Comfortable meeting customers in person and via virtual calls
• Confident speaking on camera for live streams or social content when needed
• Passionate about crafting, sewing, quilting, DIY, or another creative hobby
• Friendly, empathetic, and great at listening to customer needs
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a steady flow of appointments
• Energized by being in a creative, community-oriented environment
• Excited to work full-time onsite in our Cedar Hills showroom

• Experience in customer service, retail, or sales (consultative sales a plus)
• Experience using Zoom or other virtual meeting tools
• Familiarity with current social media trends or livestream environments
• Basic comfort working in CRM or scheduling tools
• Prior experience in creative, crafting, or maker communities (highly valued — not required)

Compensation Structure:
Hourly base pay + commission (with room to grow into salaried position)
