General

Qualifications:

must meet the qualifications of his/her state and those set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).), including the following:

Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid

Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses

Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances

Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies

Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved

Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations

Preferred but not required qualifications:

~ Willing to drive an after school bus. An increase in compensation will made if you have or attain a CDL license.

~ To meet driving requirements, must be at least 21 years of age and no driving moving violations within past 3 years and hold a current TX drivers license.

~ Prior experience working with school age summer camp and/or after school program in a licensed childcare center.

Employment is contingent upon cleared DFPS, DPS, and FBI Background Checks

Job Type: Full time and part time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

No weekends

Supplemental Pay:

Bonus pay
