Advanced Electrical Engineer

We’re seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to take ownership of our next-generation High Voltage (HV) System. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll design, build, and lead the development of advanced electrical distribution systems for our fuel‑agnostic linear generator technology. • Owning and leading the design of HV electrical systems, including schematics, wiring harnesses, power electronics, and control modules.
• Developing and testing prototypes in a lab environment—bringing concepts into working reality.
• Driving analysis, simulation, and validation of HV circuits using industry‑standard tools (MATLAB‑Simulink, PSPICE, LTSPICE).
• Collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure electrical, thermal, and safety requirements are met.
• Partnering with suppliers for key components, ensuring compliance, manufacturability, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Contributing to safety‑critical documentation (FMEAs, DVP&Rs) and supporting certification efforts.

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a regulated design environment.
• Proven expertise in high‑voltage DC power distribution, batteries, motors, inverters, and PDUs.
• Hands‑on experience debugging and building HV prototypes.
• Skilled in electrical modeling, simulation, and system design.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 26262, UL, or MIL specifications.
• Collaborative problem‑solver with the ability to jump in quickly, learn fast, and deliver results.
• Bonus:
  Experience in EV systems architecture, BESS, or generator systems.
