Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're hiring a COTA to deliver hands‑on occupational therapy to children from infancy through adolescence. You'll carry out treatment plans developed by our supervising OTs for kids with sensory processing differences, fine and visual‑motor delays, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and more.

You’ll work side by side with your supervising OT, see a steady caseload, and help families carry progress home. Our play gym and therapy spaces give you room to make every session engaging.

The Role:
  • Deliver treatment sessions following the plan of care set by your supervising OT, covering fine motor, visual‑motor, handwriting, sensory regulation, self‑care, and play skills.
  • Track each child’s response to treatment and share observations that inform re‑evaluations and goal updates.
  • Coach parents and caregivers on home strategies that build on each session.
  • Write timely, accurate daily notes that meet payer and Texas regulatory requirements.
  • Meet regularly with your supervising OT, consistent with Texas Board of OT Examiners supervision rules.
  • Collaborate with PT, SLP, and ABA colleagues on shared clients.
  • Meet a weekly productivity target that leaves protected time for documentation.
Required:
  • Associate degree from an ACOTE‑accredited OTA program.
  • Current NBCOT COTA certification.
  • Active Texas OTA license, or eligibility to obtain one before your start date.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A genuine love of working with kids and their families.
Preferred:
  • Pediatric experience in a clinic, early intervention, or school setting; new grads with pediatric fieldwork are encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Schedule:

Our clinic is open seven days a week:
Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–1:30pm. Full‑time is 36+ hours per week, and we'll work with you to build a schedule that fits your life. Every shift includes a one‑hour lunch break.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience.
  • Weekend stipend: an extra $5 per hour on every weekend hour you work.
  • Two weeks of paid time off.
  • Paid holidays
  • Continuing education (CEU) reimbursement.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance details
Why Little Land:
  • Real supervision and mentorship. You'll work alongside experienced pediatric OTs.
  • A true interdisciplinary team. OT, PT, SLP, and ABA share one building.
  • Space to play. Our on‑site play gym and well‑equipped treatment rooms make sessions creative and fun.
  • Clear growth path. Our tiered pay structure rewards performance and experience with defined steps up.
  • Real time off. Two weeks of PTO, nine paid holidays, and a paid Winter Break.
