Associate Immigration Attorney

Bravo-Bonetti Legal, PLLC, is looking for an associate to join our dynamic, passionate, and growing bilingual team. Our firm focuses primarily on Latin American political asylum.

• Represent clients in government agencies and in court proceedings
• Prepare legal documents such as applications, petitions, appeals, motions, and waivers
• Research and analyze complex immigration law issues
• Provide legal advice and counsel on all aspects of immigration law
• Communicate with clients regarding their immigration matters
• Monitor changes in immigration law and advise clients accordingly
• Develop strategies to resolve immigration-related problems
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and trends

• Be licensed in at least one U.S. state
• Be in good standing with the Bar in the state(s) in which licensed
• Have experience managing a large caseload
• Be able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of immigration law, statutes, practices, and procedures
• Have a strong background in a full range of immigration categories
• Be fluent in Spanish and English

• Superb writing skills in both English and Spanish
• Excellent computer and technological literacy
