Plumbing Installer

Job Summary

The Installation Technician performs tasks related to the installation of water heaters, water softeners, water filtration systems, sewer and water service lines, and gas lines for residential and/or light commercial customers, and is responsible for maintaining customer health, safety and satisfaction.

• Installs water heaters, water softeners, water filtration systems, sewer and water service lines and gas lines.
• Is responsible for compliance with all local plumbing codes.
• Maintains accurate documentation of installations including all required forms and photos of work.
• Submits all completed paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintains a clean and properly stocked service vehicle.
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home and maintains a neat work area while performing a repair or scheduled service.
• Test each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly, ensuring the job was completed correctly and eliminating unnecessary callbacks.
• Explains each service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensures clients are 100% satisfied with all work.
• Conveys a safety‑conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
• Maintains cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles at all times.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable residential plumbing installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Valid Texas Tradesman or Journeyman’s Plumbing License.
• Must be able to work extended hours and occasional weekends.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
• Must possess all necessary tools to perform installations, including but not limited to basic hand tools, drills, saws, and torches.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
