The Twin Lakes Family YMCA is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Water Fitness Instructor.

Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the Water Fitness Instructor will teach adult water fitness classes for the Twin Lakes Family YMCA.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Ensure YMCA policies and program standards are met and safety procedures are followed.

Work with Director to coordinate and implement water fitness classes.

Provide coaching and leadership to all participants.

Establish and implement ongoing communication with members.

Observe, evaluate, and provide feedback and direction to participants.

Create, organize, and instruct group skill-building classes.

Maintain proper records and equipment.

Support the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA.

Skills/Requirements:

At least 12 months experience teaching water fitness.

At least one water fitness certification.

Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Uphold the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith.

Individual must be able to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, sex-offender check, and criminal history check.

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $25.00/hour
