The Vendor Liaison Group serves as the single point of contact for approved vendor contracts and vendor compliance for the Operations organization. The role is responsible for vendor oversight, vendor execution, and strategic oversight for vendors providing services to operations, onshore/offshore staff augmentation, and other operational engagement services.
Responsibilities- Serve as the liaison between organization management and vendors to ensure vendor partners are effectively managed and contracts are fully leveraged.
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with vendor representatives.
- Analyze vendor performance data regularly and perform follow‑up activities to ensure vendors adhere to company quality measures.
- Develop internal and external (Vendor) SLAs and metrics necessary for monitoring vendor results.
- Determine internal and external reporting requirements and enforce delivery of accurate and timely information.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors and communicate needed improvements.
- Develop company guidelines and best practices for vendor management and viability measures. Monitor results and identify needed improvements through feedback.
- Assist in the application of vendor selection criteria processes and in developing the RFP.
- Work with legal and organization management to drive contractual or legal agreements through negotiation to final execution. Provide ongoing management and oversight once contracts are executed.
- Collaborate with various organizations for procurement, onboarding, and payment processing activities.
- Develop opportunities to influence strategic vendor direction/initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational needs and drive year‑over‑year performance improvements.
- Compile and analyze trends that affect budgetary needs and support the organization’s budget cycle by providing vendor related information.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 5 years experience in a vendor liaison/management or similar role.
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated understanding of vendor management concepts and implementation techniques, including contract negotiation and vendor performance monitoring.
- Experience in vendor pricing methods such as rate cards and pricing methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in contract negotiation.
- Ability to define and manage vendor management processes.
- Strong communication and listening skills, including facilitation of meetings and effective leadership of discussions.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical skills.
Hybrid with 3 days working onsite.
CompensationThe salary for this position generally ranges between $78,000 – $95,000 annually. Eligibility for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance is at the Company’s discretion.
