UnityPoint Clinic and St. Luke’s Hospital are actively recruiting for a Neuropsychologist to join our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
UnityPoint Health is a physician‑led, nonprofit health‑care organization that offers comprehensive primary, walk‑in, and specialty services. The PMR department focuses on reducing readmissions and improving outcomes through early follow‑up care and coordinated interdisciplinary treatment.
- Established team of two neuropsychologists and a psychometrist.
- Additional part‑time health psychologist on the IRU and outpatient practice.
- Full‑time position with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling.
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on‑call requirements.
- Fully integrated EPIC EMR system to improve care coordination.
- Provide neuropsychological testing and consultation from provider’s office.
- Conduct and manage outpatient practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: health psychology, OT/PT/SLP, care coordination, social work, and physicians.
- Focus on rapid follow‑up after inpatient stays to reduce readmissions.
- Implement practices to decrease wait time from referral to evaluation.
- Act as a team member to improve community health.
- Partner closely with rehab physicians, hospitalists, primary care providers, and therapists.
- Maintain patient‑focused, friendly approach in a team environment.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology with specialization in neuropsychology.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
- Licensed or license‑eligible in the state of Iowa.
- Experience in neuropsychological practice preferred.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
