Seeking Teachers Certified 9-12 in the following areas:

• Math
• Science
• Social Studies
• ELA
• PE

Position Type: Short term Contracts-Teaching/STC-T

Location: Online

Teachers currently certified in the content area and employed by the Cedar Rapids Community School District. Priority will be given to qualified applicants with previous experiences with the program.

Certified H.S. Teachers

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Duties include:

• Promoting student success by:
• Supporting a roster of students per content area in Edgenuity
• Providing feedback on graded assignments.
• Grading coursework in a timely manner, returning work within two days of submission.
• Reaching out to students to support engagement in coursework
• Grading teacher will use the Edgenuity system to grade students' course work.
• Collaborating with school counselors and Edgenuity para educator about student progress and course work
• Comfort with cloud-based applications
• Duration: 1 semester

COMPENSATION: $2500 for the semester

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

Teacher licensure

Certification for content area
