Permanent Building Substitute - Trailside

Apply for the Permanent Building Substitute - Trailside role at Cedar Rapids Community School District.

Position to start as arranged and last the entire  school year. This role works 5 days a week in this building, with flexibility to float to other buildings as needed.

• Provide teachers time to attend meetings, professional development, team conferences, student support meetings, and other scheduled activities.
• Ensure a safe and orderly environment for all students.
• Attend all building meetings, professional development, and other meetings as assigned by the building principal.

• Applicant must be an approved substitute teacher registered through the Sub Central assignment system.
• Any Elementary Endorsement will qualify for substitute authorization.
• Must hold a valid teaching/substitute license.
• Applicant must understand the procedures in place to ensure student safety.

• Pay is $25.00 per hour.
• Eligible for District health insurance with a District contribution of $210 per month.
• Note:
  
  Selected Candidate will not be eligible for a continuing contract.
