• Supervise students.
• Work with students individually or in group settings under the direction of professional staff.
• Consistently monitor student learning and behaviors.
• Be available to meet any student needs, including health, toileting, behavior, and self‑help skills.
• Attend district workshops and trainings to continue learning about Early Childhood Education.
• Other duties as assigned.

Teacher Associates

Three hours per day – four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Pay: $16.10/hr

ASAP

Must have at least 12 credit hours in early childhood education, a current CDA credential, or two years post‑secondary education or Para educator certificate.

Required to obtain pediatric first aid and CPR.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with preschool‑age children.
• Ability to effectively supervise students while maintaining a positive relationship with them.

• Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects; talk and hear.
• Squat, stoop or kneel, reach above the head and forward 0 to 24 inches and on occasion up to 36 inches.
• Bend or twist at the neck/trunk more than average person.
• Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs at 0-12 feet, occasionally up to 20 feet.
• Push/pull items such as tables and carts.
• Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

• Quiet noise level; works indoors and outdoors supervising students.
• Work often in different areas of the classroom including desks, floor, standing, in movement while supervising indoor and outdoor activities.
• Temperature usually indoor but occasionally outdoors.
