Lead Controls Engineer

Responsibilities- Serve as a team member supporting the execution of project work from design through implementation.
- Develop and modify design documentation—including drawing packages, methods of procedures, sequence of operations, and testing scripts.
- Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC and HMI programs.
- Provide onsite and remote support for commissioning and system design changes.
- Represent and embody our core values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial control system applications.
- 1+ years of experience working with industrial HVAC/BMS/EPMS applications for data center environments.
- Intermediate understanding of control system network topologies.
- PLC experience—completed at least one project with Schneider Electric M580 PLCs and Unity Pro or Control Expert programming software; capable of developing from scratch independently.
- SCADA experience—completed at least one project with Schneider Electric Power SCADA or EPO software platform; capable of developing from scratch independently.
- Experience commissioning in construction environments.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
- Collaboration and teamwork DNA.
- Experience with Facebook/Meta data center projects.
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Control Logix, Inductive Automation Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform, and other PLC/SCADA platforms.
- Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
- Experience commissioning in "live" environments.
- Experience leading small groups or project teams.
