MSA has an opportunity for a Project Manager Engineering at our Cedar Rapids, IA office. This position is on our Public Works Service Line and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is strongly preferred. ResponsibilitiesThe work you will do:
- Project management including planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC
- Client relations
- Design of municipal infrastructure projects
- Mentoring junior engineering staff
- Preparing plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Developing project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
- Collaborative learning in a team environment
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of civil engineering experience in a consulting firm
- PE license preferred in Iowa
- Experience or desire to handle client relations and project management
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
