This role provides controls engineering support to assigned product lines. Key stakeholders include engineers, process owners, purchasing, vendors, technical service, field service, and end customers. Deliverables encompass electrical engineering design, programming for logic controllers, visualization interfaces, and technical support.

• Maintain a fully documented and accurate electrical design and control program that complies with established Evergreen and industry standards.
• Balance cost with manufacturing and operational efficiency, achieving the lowest base cost while ensuring high manufacturing efficiency and low warranty and maintenance requirements.
• Produce electrical design/program changes to support sales orders, product improvements, and change requests/non-conformances.
• Provide timely, complete, and consistent technical support to internal and external business customers.
• Support the Controls Team by increasing output, standardization, and repeatability of designs and programs through continuous improvement of engineering tools and work processes.
• Maintain at least a 30‑day backlog of all assigned non-conformances.
• Develop controls standards.

• Work prioritization involves multiple stakeholders. The individual must evaluate new requests, integrate them into the schedule, and deliver outcomes as scheduled.

Assignments typically involve newer and mid‑market level models with occasional sales order specials and product extension tasks. The individual should manage most assignments independently, provide reasonable support and training to lower‑level staff, and contribute to engineering standards, tools, and process improvements with some guidance.

• 2–5 years of professional experience related to this position.
• Proficiency in CAD—AutoCAD or Solid Works preferred.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation controls platform—Control Logix preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to produce results and work well with others.
• Strong learning agility and action orientation.
• Effective priority setting, problem solving, drive for results, time management, customer focus, and interpersonal savvy.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, functional technical skills, learning on the fly, and self‑development.
