- Use and apply mechanical engineering principles and techniques to design, develop, document, verify, and support communication products.
- Perform mechanical packaging design to meet challenging environmental requirements.
- Collaborate on development of circuit card designs (profile, stack‑up, thermal/vibration considerations).
- Lead prototype build, verification, and pre‑qualification testing within a cross‑functional team.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure defined requirements are met in all phases of a product’s lifecycle, including integration, testing, and qualification of the final product.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the full product lifecycle: requirements participation, bid and proposal, design development, and production support activities.
- Experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools such as NX or Solidworks.
- Experience with MIL-STD-810 and/or DO-160 environmental requirements.
- Familiarity with electronic product packaging requirements.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Knowledge of machined and sheet‑metal manufacturing methodologies.
- Understanding of design‑to‑cost, manufacturability, and small‑volume packaging.
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). - Experience with Agile development methodologies, including JIRA.

Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Salary range: $82,000 – $164,000 USD.
