Traveling Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Center Position Overview

Lead delivery of a marquee hyperscale data center project as the Owner’s Representative. You’ll be the client’s on‑site leader—driving scope, schedule, and budget from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.

• Project Leadership:
  Align owner priorities, manage risk, and maintain accountability.
• Schedule & Controls:
  Monitor critical path, validate progress, and ensure timely milestones.
• Cost Management:
  Oversee pay apps, change orders, and forecasts.
• Design & Quality:
  Review drawings, address constructability, and support commissioning.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Provide clear reporting and facilitate decision‑making.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Champion site safety and regulatory adherence.

• 10+ years in mission‑critical or large‑scale construction (data center experience preferred).
• Expertise in scheduling (CPM/P6), project controls, and commissioning of complex MEP/Electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills; ability to simplify technical topics for executives.
• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• On‑site leadership with periodic travel for program and vendor engagements.
• Collaborate with elite teams in a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
