Traveling Superintendent – Hyperscale Data Center Position Overview
Lead delivery of a marquee hyperscale data center project as the Owner’s Representative. You’ll be the client’s on‑site leader—driving scope, schedule, and budget from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership:
Align owner priorities, manage risk, and maintain accountability. - Schedule & Controls:
Monitor critical path, validate progress, and ensure timely milestones. - Cost Management:
Oversee pay apps, change orders, and forecasts. - Design & Quality:
Review drawings, address constructability, and support commissioning. - Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear reporting and facilitate decision‑making. - Safety & Compliance:
Champion site safety and regulatory adherence.
- 10+ years in mission‑critical or large‑scale construction (data center experience preferred).
- Expertise in scheduling (CPM/P6), project controls, and commissioning of complex MEP/Electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills; ability to simplify technical topics for executives.
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- On‑site leadership with periodic travel for program and vendor engagements.
- Collaborate with elite teams in a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
