Join our team as a manufacturing electrical engineer (MEE) on the HF Comm & TCN Team in Cedar Rapids, IA, where you’ll apply engineering concepts and analysis tools to drive transformative changes in manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on improving product quality, reducing costs, and optimizing production flow, contributing directly to our team’s efficiency and competitiveness.

• Provide technical interpretations of drawings and specifications and analyze and resolve design tolerance problems.
• Provide information to evaluate, select, and order capital test equipment and complete cost/payback analysis.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test methods and processes in the manufacture and test of sub‑assembly, module, and top‑level product for established product line.
• Eliminate/reduce test defects and improve test yields for routine issues of various levels of scope.
• Provide information to evaluate Customer Returned Good (CRG) activity to identify potential failure trends.
• Perform root cause analysis and take corrective action to resolve test failures.

• Support high‑frequency communication radios & circuit board manufacturing processes as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
• Use engineering tools in the build & test of HF and TCN radios (SAP, Engineering drawings, change control board, eView, PDM, etc.).
• Gain experience with standard work tools and processes and execute CORE certification.
• Develop communication and collaboration skills key to the role.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and professional development opportunities.

• University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
