Summary: As a Calibration Technician at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test equipment that supports our mission‑essential aerospace systems. You’ll take ownership of complex calibration and repair tasks across AC/DC circuitry, collaborate with engineers, and help shape new calibration processes that drive efficiency across the organization.

• Calibrate and repair test equipment related to AC/DC circuitry
• Read electrical schematics
• Work under minimal supervision to perform highly complex technical tasks
• Communicate and provide technical recommendations for capital, expense, and service acquisitions
• Work from minimal documentation or written/verbal instructions
• Assist engineers with design and development of new calibration processes
• Maintain a monthly/weekly workload of calibration and repair
• Support on‑site calibration and repairs at surrounding sites
• Work with electrical and mechanical test equipment
• Apply electronic theory to configure, model, layout, prototype, build, test, troubleshoot, determine solutions, and modify electronic products for engineering efforts

• Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent 2‑year post‑high‑school training with a minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Background in a STEM field or equivalent technical training
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required

• Experience with AC/DC equipment such as multimeters, calibrators, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills using printed or written work instructions
• Good time‑management and ability to reorganize tasks when priorities shift
