Mechanical Lead Engineer

Location:

Cedar Rapids, IA

Position Type: FTE/Permanent

• Designing visual concepts using CAD Design tools (Circuit Breakers).
• Work with cross functional teams.
• Understanding SE needs/requirements and working accordingly to create CAD model.
• Lead, create, approve and/or review parametric models and drawings of electro-mechanical equipment, according to design intent.
• Perform analysis (tolerance) to ensure the adequate performance, quality, and reliability of the product.
• Manage GD&T methodologies and manufacturability of product.
• Coordinate prototypes build ups from the model shop.
• Select Engineering materials for various components.
• Tolerance Analysis of components and assemblies.
• Create and/or update DFMEA.
• Product configuration control (Bills of materials, engineering drawings, product change requests, deviations, qualification).
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Experience using Creo and Windchill (PDM).

• BE in Mechanical Engineering.
