We are seeking qualified candidates for an experienced systems engineer II to join our software development team for Military Flight Management. The engineer that fills this role will work primarily on the avionics software for the E-2D platform and other fixed wing platforms. This is an onsite role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Product SummaryCAAS/Flight 2 Flight Management Solutions - Our signature products for Military Avionics and Helicopters as part of the Collins Integrated Avionics Systems, fielded on thousands of aircraft today, at this moment. Specific capabilities include FMS (Flight Management Systems), Performance Application, System Manager, Comm, Flight Director, and Flight Controls. Please see the following links for more details:
- You will develop, capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements for the addition of new and altered functionality for our fixed winged platforms.
- You will create test cases and procedures to verify software implantation.
- You will design requirements, software, and test verification, depending on program need.
- You will develop innovative design approaches that meet customer requirements, cost targets, and product line objectives.
- You will collaborate with your agile team members on the overall design process for your projects.
- You will support teams of software and systems engineers to develop, integrate and release FMS software products.
