Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Test & Electromechanical Systems) to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the design, integration, and maintenance of test equipment and electromechanical systems supporting manufacturing.  Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a hands-on leader with a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and software systems. The successful candidate will be accountable for driving quality, improving reliability, and enhancing equipment and product performance across multiple product lines within the Data Links IPT.This

This is an onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA and may have potential of up to 10-15% travel. this role is eligible for relocation assistance.

What You Will Do:

Coach, mentor and develop the performance of a team of test, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers and technicians.

Oversee the design, prototyping, testing, and deployment of test and electromechanical systems and equipment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and quality to troubleshoot complex issues, enhance equipment uptime and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Establish and standardize engineering processes, documentation, and best practices for equipment design, validation, and maintenance in compliance with industry standards.

Support the implementation of smart manufacturing initiatives and Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance productivity and data visibility.

Manage capital projects involving test solutions and automation or process upgrades.

Define and monitor KPIs related to equipment uptime and project ROI.Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for test solutions.
