Developing, executing and communicating the pricing strategies of ESP International. Ensure the accuracy of all pricing data, develop usable data‑mining processes, and analyze the performance of pricing strategies. Manage the investigation of margin creep, negative margin and low‑margin items and make recommendations for correction.

You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
- Analyze large sets of data to discover pricing/costing/margin discrepancies and make fact‑based decisions that drive company profitability
- Create ad‑hoc reports that extract data from several different sources
- Understand mathematical formulas
- Draw conclusions from data analysis and explain to others in simplified language
- Ensure data accuracy and have excellent attention to detail
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
- Monitor daily reports for customer margin erosion
- Proactively research data to identify cost increases and margin changes
- Effectively present price changes to customers and price recommendations to other ESP departments
- Ensure timeliness of new pricing implementation and accuracy of data
- Create or alter reports to meet or anticipate business changes
- Work effectively with Supply Chain or other ESP departments regarding cost/pricing changes
- Mentor/coach other analysts and provide training as needed
We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable to hit the following numbers each week:
- Meet or exceed yearly gross margin goals as established by leadership
- Reduce invoice discrepancies as a percentage of annual sales
- Reduce the total number of negative invoices as a percentage of annual sales
Expectations on Qualifications include:
- 3‑5 years’ experience in financial analysis, data analytics and scenario modeling
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business or related experience
- Advanced Excel experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficient with data analysis tools
- Proven ability to multi‑task and manage projects with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with flexible hours in a deadline‑driven environment
