Home Instead is now hiring Certified Nursing Assistants. Most seniors want to remain in their homes. Many of them will need some type of home care to achieve that goal. The clients we serve depend on people who are open-minded, willing to learn and view feedback as an opportunity to grow. The seniors enjoy spending time with those who approach life with a positive attitude and perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Personal Care Assistance
• Alzheimer's Care

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid auto insurance
• Value the importance of treating and caring for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Able to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
• No previous experience is necessary

Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program as well as Good standing in the state registry is required.
