Respiratory Therapist

Mason City, IA

Contract | Days | Rotating Shift | Weekends and Holidays Required

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions and disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Active Respiratory Therapist license or certification required
• CRT or RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care patients
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
