The Digital Engineering Methods, Process & Adoption Software Solution team is on a mission to drive digital transformation to Collins Aerospace. If you are interested in a meaningful career in developing and deploying world class automation, tools and processes to an entire Collins Organization, this is the team for you.  This is the PERFECT position for a Principal Level Software Engineer with a strong background in Dev Sec Ops , Software Lifecycle Development (Requirements, Development, Test, Certification).

Someone who can serve as the focal subject matter expert in all aspects related to Software Solution Life Cycle Pipelines. Join our team to help bring world class engineering automation into our organization!

What You Will Do You will lead in the implementation of new capabilities for our SW Cert Dev Ops and Common Test pipelines.

You will optimize existing Software Solution capabilities. You will work across teams and departments to enable rapid onboarding of the Cert Dev Ops technology.  You will mentor, train and onboard teammates.  You will be expected to be a self-starter, able to multitask and manage unplanned events.   You will use your organizational skills to keep track of everything. You will use your effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date.   

You will use your problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission.  Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Experience in all aspects/phases the software engineering product lifecycle to include all phases of certification.  Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with Dev Sec Ops .

  Experience with :
Git Lab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista.

  Experience with scripting languages:
Python, Robot, Lava.

  Experience with SW Harness Testing and Adaption (PySMART, Rapitest, Etc..)Experience with AI technology for automation enhancements. Experience in detailed technical writing for solution adopters.

Experience with Agile development life cycle and best practices.
