Job Overview: This position is for an experienced Systems Engineering professional supporting the Cross-Domain Solutions program in the Mission Systems Secure Systems Department. The role involves designing and developing military communication products, interfacing with multi-discipline teams, and ensuring secure, protected communication across domestic and international customers.
What YOU will do- Perform analysis, architecture, and design at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Provide analysis for decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and develop verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total system solutions.
- Perform daily tasks in a classified and controlled lab environment.

- Obtain invaluable experience working with subject matter experts, security and crypto certification specialists, customers, and a cross-functional integrated product team.
- Develop expertise in security-hardened products and experience across a variety of business and product domains.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
- Experience with the systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, and transition to production.
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework.
- Strong communication skills, experience presenting technical data to program management and executive leadership.
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems and Digital Hardware architecture/design.
- Experience with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, or similar.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
