$28.94 – max of $30.88 (after 12 months)

1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-year A.A.S Degree – CNC Machining Technology or 1-2 years of Machining experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Work Keys Certification:
  National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Certificate Level or higher).
• Experience operating manual mills, drill presses, radial drills, hones, and Blanchard grinders.

• Assemble large commercial consumer packaging equipment. This includes subassemblies as well as piece parts positioned in the frame of machine.
• The connections of electrical wires, mechanical, and pneumatic parts as required may include established testing of those parts for correct operation.

Sets up and operate a variety of manual equipment that a machinist would use. The equipment that the individual will use includes the following: manual vertical mill, drill press, radial drill, hone, and Blanchard grinder. The person is responsible to use this equipment to machine parts to specifications. The person will observe machine operations and verifies accuracy of machine work pieces by use of a variety of precision measurement tools.
