Progressive Rehabilitation Medicine is a Cedar Rapids, Iowa based provider of rehabilitation services. We provide a wide variety of non-surgical minimally invasive treatments; including Stem Cell Therapy, Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, Botox, Electromagnetic Field Therapy and more.
As a Registered Nurse at Progressive Rehabilitation Medicine, PC you will positively and directly impact the lives of others by or providing and coordinating quality patient care, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, monitor, and record patient medical histories, symptoms, and vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plan in partnership with the physicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment and ensure all medical equipment functions properly.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and policies.
Education:
Minimum of 2 years RN experience preferred.
License:
Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Iowa.
Certifications:
Current Heart Association BLS, ACLS
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership ability, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and placing IV's is a plus.
