American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring DaVinci robotics and vascular surgery experience.

• Operating Room unit in a regional hospital setting
• 14-bed unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Call requirements include 1 night per week and up to 1 weekend per month
• Uses DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa robotics equipment
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active IA or compact/multistate RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 24 months of current Operating Room experience required
• Proficient experience in DaVinci robotics required
• Proficient experience in vascular cases required, including TCAR, TAVR, bypass, endarterectomy, embolectomy, and AV fistula procedures
• Proficient experience in general surgery required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Spine surgery experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Travel assignment experience within the past 15 months required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room nursing required
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

• Perform circulating and scrub duties across general surgery, vascular, and robotic-assisted cases
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months of separation
