American Traveler is hiring a Pre/Post-Op RN for a 13-week Days assignment requiring pre/post-op or PACU cardiac experience and TEE/cardioversion skills.

• Pre/Post-Op unit with 2 procedure bays and 3 pre/post bays
• Patient population includes non-invasive cardiology procedures such as TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Days shift, 5x8 hour shifts, approximately 7:00/7:30a to 1630/1700
• May float to Cardiac & Vascular Holding
• Weekend call rotation required, Saturday and Sunday 7a-1430
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active RN license (IA or compact)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 24 months experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting
• TEE experience required
• Cardioversion experience required
• Stress testing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• First time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of experience
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing non-invasive cardiac procedures including TEE, cardioversion, and stress testing
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed
• Past UPH employees (FTE or PRN) are restricted from working travel assignments at other UPH market facilities within 12 months
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply with sufficient experience
