American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a day-shift hospital assignment requiring recent pediatric PACU experience and telemetry skills.

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting within a hospital
• 12-bed unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• All patient population types including pediatric cases
• Utilizes drips and titrations, telemetry monitoring, and EPIC EMR
• Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts, flexible start times between
• 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend required, as needed
• Currently no formal on-call requirement, call as needed

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 12 months of PACU / post anesthesia care experience required
• 24 months of current PACU experience required on work history/resume
• Hospital, medical center, same day surgery, or outpatient surgery facility experience accepted
• Recent pediatric care experience required
• Strong experience reading and measuring telemetry required
• Drips/titration experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within last 24 months preferred

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care across a full range of patient types including pediatric cases
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on skills and experience
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from working travel assignments at other Market facilities, including this one, within 12 months of separation
