Veterinary Medical Director

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Veterinary Medical Director position with an established AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This position combines hands-on clinical medicine with genuine hospital-wide leadership. You'll continue managing your own medical, surgical and dental caseload while helping shape clinical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians and work closely with hospital management to support the continued development of the practice.

This established multi-doctor hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care within a collaborative environment supported by credentialed veterinary technicians, experienced assistants, client service professionals and hospital management.

The hospital is AAHA accredited and includes Fear Free Certified Professionals, reflecting a commitment to high clinical standards alongside compassionate, low-stress patient care.

The broad caseload includes dogs and cats alongside birds, exotic animals and pocket pets, giving veterinarians the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical interests.

As Veterinary Medical Director, you'll remain actively involved in clinical medicine while providing leadership and guidance across the veterinary team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own medical, surgical and dental caseload

• Mentoring and supporting fellow veterinarians
