** Senior Supplier Quality – FAI
** role is responsible for implementing quality objectives for the business unit in alignment with established quality policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve and enhance quality and delivery goals. Serving as a key point of contact for supplier quality matters, the position also focuses on developing and improving processes to ensure compliance with Collins Aerospace Quality Standards.

Functional responsibilities may include
** Quality Assurance, Quality System Validation, Supply Chain Quality Assurance,
** and
** Material Verification.

* What You Will Do:

*** Performs preliminary review and Material Review Board analysis of First Article Inspection Reports and disposition of nonconforming material.
* Evaluates Collins Aerospace or supplier products and processes.
* Analyzes root causes of deficiencies and ensures proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
* Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review of products and of engineering and manufacturing processes.
* Maintains a working relationship with key customer procurement organizations to the benefit of the customer and Collins Aerospace.
* Maintains quality data records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
* Works under moderate supervision to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures
* 10-15% travel, as required
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
** or
* * an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
* Experience in a quality organization
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Read and Interpretation of engineering drawings (Dimension, tolerance, and basic GD&T Symbology).
* Familiar with industry specification and standards interpretation
* Familiar with inspection methods and techniques
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Experience with continuous improvement principles, Six Sigma, lean, 5S etc.
* Familiar with problem solving techniques like PDCA
* Able to make quick decisions based in facts and risk analysis, even under high-pressured situations
* Familiar with AS9102 and or First Article Inspection process and requirements
* Experience in supplier quality or supplier management and development
