Are you a dynamic problem solver and highly motivated professional with a passion for driving sales and securing new business opportunities? If so, the role of an Amperage Business Development Representative might be a match for you.

In the fast-paced world of sales, a Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in driving business growth and success. Desired candidates are quick‑thinkers, adaptive problem solvers, who are organized, goal‑oriented, and capable of meeting multiple project deadlines simultaneously.

Business Development Representatives are expected to work with a sense of ownership and accountability. This means taking the initiative to drive innovation and creativity in your sales approach. We’re looking for someone who stays ahead of the curve and drives results by consistently seeking new ways to add value.

Some of the primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Finding, qualifying and nurturing new business leads with the ultimate goal of increased sales revenue
  • Generating revenue and meeting sales targets through new business acquisition
  • Proposal writing
  • Developing and leading new business presentations
  • Attending networking events, conferences and trade shows
  • Staying relevant with industry trends, competitor activities and market developments
  • Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) system to track sales progress

A minimum of two years of B2B sales experience is required. Agency or direct marketing experience preferred.

Key skills and characteristics of ideal candidates include:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated, persistent and resilient

Compensation is based on candidate experience and qualifications with a base salary of $47,500 to $50,000.00 and the opportunity to earn commission on realized sales after an acclimation period of six months.
