Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician who takes pride in clean, code‑compliant work and can work independently. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with inspections, service, and installation of fire alarm and life‑safety systems, and requires minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, test, and service fire alarm and life‑safety systems
- Conduct NFPA 72 inspections and produce clear deficiency reports
- Troubleshoot systems accurately and efficiently
- Read and interpret prints, layouts, and device schedules
- Communicate professionally with customers and inspectors
- Complete work documentation and close out tasks properly
- 2+ years of hands‑on fire alarm experience (no helper/apprentice time)
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 72
- Ability to manage your own calls and daily schedule
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET Fire Alarm Systems (Level I or higher) or ESA equivalent
- State fire alarm license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with Notifier, Silent Knight, Fire‑Lite, fire extinguishers, and Ansul range hood systems
- Inspection and service background
