Carpenter Apprentice
Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Apprentice.
Responsibilities- A. Setup trailers
- B. Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex’s, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan
- C. Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
- D. Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevation
- E. Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
- F. Concrete and rough carpentry
- 1. Hand set Walls
- 2. Footings
- 3. Set Gang Wall Forms
- 4. Structural Concrete Decks
- 5. Drywall
- 6. Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
- 7. Millwork and cabinetry
- G. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- H. All other duties as assigned
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- * Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.*
- * Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.*

The base pay range for this role is $26.95 per hour.
