Carpenter Apprentice

Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Apprentice.

• A. Setup trailers
• B. Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex’s, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan
• C. Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
• D. Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevation
• E. Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
• F. Concrete and rough carpentry
  • 1. Hand set Walls
  • 2. Footings
  • 3. Set Gang Wall Forms
  • 4. Structural Concrete Decks
  • 5. Drywall
  • 6. Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
  • 7. Millwork and cabinetry
• G. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• H. All other duties as assigned

• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• * Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.*
• * Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.*

The base pay range for this role is $26.95 per hour.
