Carpenter Apprentice

Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Apprentice.

• Setup trailers, tool trailers, conex containers, silt fences, straw bales, and site per erosion control plan
• Build decks, stairs, roofs, and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves
• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms
• Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations
• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect all pre-fabricated materials
• Perform concrete work and rough carpentry
• Hand-set walls, footings, set gang wall forms, and construct structural concrete decks
• Install drywall, finish carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
• Work with millwork and cabinetry
• Build and maintain relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs (over 50 lbs with assistance)

Base pay: $26.95/hour

Employment is full-time, internship level, in the construction industry.
