Software Technician

Our client is a large American multinational company primarily providing avionics and information technology systems and services to governmental agencies and aircraft manufacturers.

The Government Systems Department is looking for a Senior Software Technician, with a passion for developing and testing software releases. The successful candidate will work with customers, leadership, systems, and hardware. You will be working in a dynamic team environment with engineers that share your passion for providing cutting edge solutions to today's aircraft and military.

Specific responsibilities of this position span all phases of software product development including: software requirements analysis, definition, and validation; software integration and requirements verification testing; software modeling and simulation; coordination among systems, hardware, and other software design functions; developing software related documentation, software builds and software release.

Required qualifications include:

• Must possess or be eligible for obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/re-in statement and must meet eligibility requirements.
• Associate's degree is required.
• Experience with Software Development process and release.
• Experience with Regression and Integration Testing.
• Experience with scripting and other SW Development tools (Python/Java/C/C++/PHP/HTML).
• Working knowledge of MS Office Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 5 years of related experience (at minimum).

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with Matlab or other analysis tool.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Clear Case, Clear Quest, Subversion).
• Understanding of Databases, Software Development.

Pay Rate: $33-36.28/hr we pay weekly every Friday, have direct deposit, and offer a competitive benefits package:
