• Contribute to Software Requirements, Design, Code, and Verification of the cockpit display system’s graphics server.
• Understand Collins Aerospace processes related to software development and verification and apply them to current projects.
• Work with desktop computer in an office environment and with target hardware in an engineering lab to achieve the goal of delivering a high-quality software product within schedule and cost constraints.

• Identify the root cause of moderate to complex software issues using appropriate debug and analysis tools.
• Clearly summarize encountered technical software issues to project leadership in a timely fashion.
• Work together in a collaborative team that is part of multi large systems Full life cycle development of DO-178 DAL A certified software.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

• Demonstrated interest in embedded software solutions and board-level device drivers.
• Programming experience in C, C++ and/or Python.
• Comfortable with real-time operating system and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Energetic and proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. -based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
