• Assure the safety of children crossing street intersections at designated crossing areas.
• Must wear city‑provided safety vest.
• Carry a provided stop sign during all shifts.
• Work no more than 48 minutes before school (0.8).
• Arrangements for employment date to be made.

During the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle a portable stop sign, talk and hear. The employee uses hand strength to grasp items. The employee often bends or twists at the neck and trunk more than the average person. The employee will frequently stand or walk on surfaces covered with ice and/or snow and may work during varied weather conditions.

The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud, including vehicle traffic and residential equipment noise levels. The employee will work during varied weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
