Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach (Offense and Skill) of Football. This position is to support the total academic program of the College by implementing the programs, policies, and services approved by the Head Coach for Football that will contribute to the education and welfare of students through athletics. The Assistant Coach shall conduct these efforts within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College, the American Rivers Conference, and the NCAA III in a manner that will further the fitness, wellness, personal, social, and academic development of Coe students.
Work Schedule: 10 months per year, full-time benefits eligible.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and supervising practices and games
- Vigorously recruit students
- Promote the sport, athletics department, and Coe College
- Additional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1-3 years previous coaching experience (offense) is preferred.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa(s) at this time.
- Successful completion of a background and driver check in accordance with Coe College policy.
Position Specific:
- Ability to work harmoniously with the Head Football coach, coaches of other athletic teams, athletic staff members, faculty members and college administrators.
- Exhibit exemplary personal conduct and character traits
- Serve as a role model for student-athletes

Physical Requirements
