Mount Mercy University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Seasonal Part-Time Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach. This position will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of managing a competitive NAIA women's lacrosse program, including practice planning, game-day preparation, recruitment, and student-athlete development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting practices, skill sessions, and team meetings.
- Support game-day coaching and in-game decision-making.
- Help identify, recruit, and retain prospective student-athletes who fit the university's academic and athletic profile.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on academic achievement, personal growth, and competitive success.
- Comply with all university, conference, and NAIA rules and regulations.
- Travel with the team to away games and tournaments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Prior experience playing or coaching lacrosse at the collegiate level is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the game, including tactics, skill development, and training techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive team vehicles.

Compensation:
This is a part-time, seasonal position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and may include a stipend.
