Job Description

CDL B Delivery Driver for Performance Food service.

• $22.50 per hour
• Early morning start Monday through Friday. Home every night.
• Local routes from the Cedar Rapids warehouse.

Food and food service delivery drivers ensure timely delivery of goods and represent the company to customers.

• Perform safety checks before and after each trip and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and secure freight.
• Count items and verify customer invoices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Drive to predetermined routes and deliver orders.
• Unload goods, transport to customer storage areas, and perform damage checks.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
• Collect payment when required.
• Load returns onto trailer and secure doors.
• Secure all equipment and perform housekeeping duties.
• Maintain daily hours of service logs per DOT.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑B.
• 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Hold or obtain a current DOT health card.
• Ability to hand‑lift and use equipment for product weights up to 90 pounds.

$22.50 per hour.
