Forman Ford is a leading Midwest glass and glazing contractor that fabricates and installs challenging and unique glass and panel projects. Our Cedar Rapids, IA branch is looking for a Delivery Driver to join the team!

• Deliver and pick up materials as directed to and from the shop, job sites, and suppliers
• Complete required log and maintenance records to ensure the delivery vehicle and trailer meet DOT requirements
• Assist with receiving and handling material for fabrication and site staging
• Load and unload the truck/trailer in shop and field environments, using ratchet straps to secure and release the load
• Assist in putting away materials and tools returned from job sites and the field in proper shop locations
• Perform general equipment, vehicle, and building maintenance
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
• Attend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects
• Pass and maintain DOT physical requirements per Iowa Law

• High school diploma/equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability
• Safely operate a pick‑up truck pulling a trailer into construction sites and other locations
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. frequently
• Ability to get in and out of a 1‑ton truck frequently, work on and around the trailer
• Ability to operate a fork‑lift and be licensed after hire
• Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to read and understand product information
• Understanding and application of general math and measuring skills
• Inventory, receiving, and material handling experience is helpful
• Self‑starter with good time management and organizational skills
